Recognizing Discrimination

  • Evaluate the protections defined within each Act
  • Evaluate the impact on the work environment
  • Determine how the courts determine if an employment act is unlawful

Addressing Discrimination

  • Effective communication for handling discrimination
  • Introduce supervisors’ responsibilities to prevent and respond to incidences of discrimination
  • Effective strategies for avoiding discrimination
  • Effective steps for dealing with discrimination, harassment and retaliation
  • Introduce federal, state and internal guidelines for filing complaints
